Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Principal to join our team at the State Government of Victoria, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the secondary education and school transitions program, ensuring the effective development, provision, and evaluation of the education program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the secondary education and school transitions program, ensuring alignment with the school's strategic plan and policies.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of senior curriculum or level coordinators, ensuring effective delivery of teaching programs.
  • Allocate budgets, positions of responsibility, and other resources within the area of responsibility, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Manage programs to improve the knowledge and experience of staff, ensuring ongoing professional development.
  • Take responsibility for general discipline matters beyond the management of classroom teachers and year level coordinators, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the overall management of the school, ensuring effective collaboration with other leaders and staff.
