Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Principal to join our team at Hazel Glen College, a leading educational institution in the State Government Of Victoria, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing educational leadership and management support to the school community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide educational leadership and management support to the school community
  • Develop and implement educational programs and policies that align with the school's strategic plan
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of senior curriculum or level coordinators
  • Allocate budgets, positions of responsibility, and other resources within the area of responsibility
  • Supervise the delivery of teaching programs and manage programs to improve the knowledge and experience of staff
  • Contribute to the overall management of the school and participate in policy formulation and decision-making
Requirements
  • Provisional or full registration from the Victorian Institute of Teaching
  • Demonstrated ability to implement Department policies to a high level
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills in individual, small group, and community contexts
  • Exemplary values pertaining to personal qualities of objectivity, sensitivity, and integrity
  • Ability to work with parents and the community to develop a strong learning environment
Working Arrangements

The successful candidate will be required to work collaboratively with the school community to achieve the school's strategic goals. The role will involve working closely with the Principal, Deputy Principal, and other senior staff members to develop and implement educational programs and policies.
