Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Principal to join our team at Dohertys Creek P-9 College. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing change, developing and implementing educational programs, and providing leadership and support to staff and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage change initiatives to improve student outcomes and school performance
  • Develop and implement educational programs and policies to support student learning and achievement
  • Provide leadership and support to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with teachers and other stakeholders to develop and implement curriculum and instructional programs
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and achievement, and make data-driven decisions to inform instruction
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources to support educational programs and initiatives
Requirements
  • Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in educational leadership and management
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum and instructional design
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and other stakeholders
