What We're Looking For

We're seeking a talented and versatile Editorial Videographer to join our team. As a key member of our newsroom, you'll be responsible for capturing high-quality video content that tells compelling stories and engages our audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pitch, research, and produce news videos and packages that meet our editorial standards.
  • Manage video production from concept to post-production, ensuring timely delivery under tight deadlines.
  • Develop a keen eye for creative storytelling and stay up-to-date with the latest video trends.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the newsroom and company to identify opportunities for audience-first videos across multiple platforms.
  • Ensure all journalistic and legal standards are followed.
  • Have a strong understanding of social video platforms and proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Requirements

  • Experience as a creative storyteller with technical proficiency in shooting and editing video content.
  • Proficiency in operating professional video cameras, including knowledge of framing, composition, and lighting techniques.
  • Strong technical skills in troubleshooting and maintaining camera equipment.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to take direction.
