Job Description:

We are seeking a Lead Financial Operations Specialist to join our Sydney office. In this key role, you will oversee commercial payment and reporting processes, both domestic and international. Your responsibilities will include managing calculations prepared by the offshore team, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

You will also be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial documentation, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and other records related to commercial payments and billing. Additionally, you will identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate payment processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong foundation in financial and operational accounting, with a meticulous approach to accuracy and compliance.
  • A strong audit background and experience managing commercial payments, particularly in large and complex corporate settings.
  • A tertiary degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CA or CPA certification.
  • A strong understanding of Australian accounting principles and regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, such as Oracle, with high attention to detail in financial document preparation and review.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this role is AU$100,000 - AU$120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
