Lead System Designer Position Overview

  • Design, implement and optimize real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Flink.
  • Provide technical implementation support deploying Apache Flink in pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
  • Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations to validate solution feasibility and performance.
  • Offer architectural guidance, conduct in-depth technical reviews and promote best practices in stream processing.
  • Deliver professional services engagements, including technical training sessions and performance optimization consulting.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Apache Flink, real-time stream processing and distributed architectures.
  • Stay informed on emerging streaming technologies and cloud-native technologies.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to share customer insights and influence platform improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures and cloud-native technologies.

Preferred qualifications include experience with managed stream-processing services such as Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink or Google Dataflow.
