Child Health Nurse Role

Our organization is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Child Health Nurse to provide specialist child health services to children and their families.

The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based child health services, including child health assessments, immunizations, and developmental screenings.

  • Key responsibilities include delivering culturally sensitive child healthcare, conducting evidence-based assessments and screenings, identifying high-risk children, administering developmental assessments, ensuring immunization compliance, and supporting staff in child health assessments.
  • Fostering preventative care and early intervention, offering guidance to families, and facilitating effective stakeholder management and teamwork are also integral aspects of the position.
  • Responsibilities also include client education, maintaining clinical standards, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and liaising with medical teams and community services.
