Project Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced project leader to oversee the delivery of complex mining, petroleum and gas projects across Queensland.

This role will involve leading a multi-disciplinary team to manage abandoned mine remediation and recommercialisation programs, as well as state-owned non-commercial water assets.

The successful candidate will provide strategic advice to government staff on sensitive issues and collaborate with industry partners to drive positive outcomes for all Queenslanders.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading remote teams to deliver broad works and capital expenditure
  • Managing complex commercial, probity, governance and legal frameworks
  • Providing economic feasibility analysis of resource sector or state-owned asset operations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong project management experience in a resource sector or state-owned asset environment
  • Experience navigating complex commercial, probity, governance and legal frameworks
  • Current open C class driver license
