About This Opportunity

The Faculty of Science is seeking a skilled marketing professional to join our team as a Senior Marketing Officer. As a key member of our Marketing Communications and Future Students Unit, you will play a critical role in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote the Faculty's profile and align with UQ's broader goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain digital and offline content, including websites, social media, email marketing, and promotional materials, ensuring consistent messaging and audience engagement.
  • Proactively maintain, write, review, and edit Faculty-specific content on the UQ Study website and other websites as required, collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to maintain accuracy and relevance to the target audiences.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing plans and implement marketing strategies and plans aligned with Faculty priorities primarily for student recruitment, retention, and research promotion; and monitor, evaluate, and report on effectiveness.
  • Maintain and enhance the Faculty's social media presence, ensuring effective engagement with target audiences.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate key events and projects as required, ensuring alignment with recruitment and engagement goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing timely communication and support.
