This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced nurse leader to join our healthcare organization as a Senior Ward Manager.
The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a 26-bed subacute ward, providing effective leadership and strategic direction to ensure high-quality clinical practices and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the inpatient ward, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient-centered care through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Lead and manage nursing staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment that fosters open communication and teamwork.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, leveraging data and evidence-based practices to drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant health regulatory body.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in nursing or equivalent experience, demonstrating expertise in clinical practice and leadership.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills that promote effective collaboration and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated knowledge of professional practice, including assessment, supervision, and continuous quality improvement, with a focus on patient safety and well-being.
To succeed in this role, you must have a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, a strong commitment to quality and safety, and excellent leadership and management skills.
