Key Role

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you have the opportunity to work collaboratively with asset owners to identify, prevent and troubleshoot plant and process problems to ensure maximum availability.

Supporting the project team as an owner's Mechanical engineering advisor is key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Work with asset owners to identify and troubleshoot plant and process problems.
  • Support the project team as an owner's Mechanical engineering advisor.
  • Conduct Fitness for Service (FFS) assessments for Pipes, Tanks, and Pressure Vessels.
  • Ensure work output complies with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
About You

For this role, we are looking for a team player who is motivated to strive in their career within a complex multifaceted plant environment.

You will need to have:

  • A Tertiary degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering, recognized by Engineers Australia.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience, with at least 4 years in a complex processing plant.
  • A varied engineering background with a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
  • Experience working in maintenance engineering highly regarded.
  • Ability to work autonomously and be self-driven.
  • Familiarity with WA Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations.
  • Experience developing SOW for external consultants.
  • Appreciation of the Business context for engineering and maintenance decisions.
