Safety, Health and Environmental Leadership Opportunity

This pivotal role is responsible for leading Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) at a manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the go-to HSE expert for site leaders and frontline teams
  • Partner with the Site Leadership Team to embed a proactive, self-sustaining SHE culture
  • Implement and continuously improve the Safety & Environmental Management Systems (SMS/EMS)
  • Support employees through coaching, training, and capability uplift across key SHE elements
  • Drive site compliance, emergency preparedness, and audit readiness
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up
  • Deliver strong reporting, insights and analysis to drive smarter decision making
  • Own site HSE planning, from training needs analysis to environmental performance improvements
  • Support injury management and workers compensation processes in partnership with CARE teams
About You:
  • Tertiary qualifications in OHS, Health Science or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years' SHE experience, ideally in FMCG or complex manufacturing environments
  • Proven understanding of Australian OH&S legislation and Workers Compensation frameworks
  • Experience implementing safety systems and driving compliance
  • Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data to drive real improvement
