Environmental Leadership Position

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead environmental outcomes in complex and high-risk environments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental protocols, ensuring alignment with Defence and Commonwealth standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tailored environmental protocols for operational contexts
  • Provide advice on environmental considerations throughout the asset lifecycle
  • Guide risk assessments, incident investigations and audit activities
  • Lead workshops, mentor teams and partner with stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Australian Citizen with a Defence security clearance (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Qualification or Equivalent in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Risk Management or a transferable engineering-related qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within Defence or other high-risk industries
  • Strong understanding of relevant environmental legislation, codes of practice and industry standards
  • Proficient in root cause analysis and incident investigation methodologies
