Job Title: Risk Management Leader
">The role of the Assistant Director Risk and Performance involves identifying and managing risk to support the Army Business Plan. This includes reviewing capability risks against the business plan and providing management options to risk owners. The Assistant Director Risk and Performance also manages risk workshops for land capability and is a member of preparedness and people risk workshops.
">Key responsibilities include ensuring risk briefs and documents are prepared for land capability steering groups and meeting service-level reporting requirements in accordance with the LDC battle rhythm. The role requires broad engagement with stakeholders and leadership to guide the risk team.
">The Assistant Director Risk and Performance leads and is responsible for the LDC risk team, which is part of land domain capability management. Synchronisation of the LDC risk with the LDC performance and governance teams is critical to realise the complete LDC framework.
">The LDC risk team is part of army business plan risk management. Close engagement with preparedness and people risk teams is critical to influence and understand the impact of preparedness and people on capability, as well as identify critical controls across land domain risk that have the greatest benefits to the army.
">Benefits:
">The role offers a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP) in addition to the rate of salary otherwise payable under the enterprise agreement. Applicants engaged into a BDCP position must consider this additional payment, which provides remuneration in addition to the defence enterprise agreement.

">The Assistant Director Risk and Performance will have strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in risk management and a deep understanding of the army business plan.
