Job Title: Cybersecurity Assurance Partner

Cybersecurity Assurance Role Overview

This critical leadership position drives the development and execution of a comprehensive cybersecurity assurance program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement assurance activities, manage audit findings, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate technology risks.
  • Plan, execute, and manage internal and external cybersecurity audits to ensure compliance with key security standards.
  • Oversee and coordinate activities related to penetration testing, elevated access reviews, operational reviews, and firewall assessments to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen overall security posture.
  • Lead the management of third-party vendors and services to ensure they meet security standards and comply with risk management frameworks.
  • Design and execute cyber awareness programs across the organization to promote a culture of cybersecurity.
  • Manage technology audits (Sarbanes-Oxley, NIST, etc.) and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and assurance services with a proven track record of driving business value.
  • Experience in IT audits, risk assessments, and working with cybersecurity tools and controls to identify areas for improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, ASD, and related security directives to inform risk-based decision making.
  • Expertise in cyber risk management and audit processes with a focus on continuous improvement and compliance to drive business success.
