Seeks to lead HR practices through change and growth, a talented HR professional is required to drive our next stage of development.

About the Role

  • Lead HR operations, planning and growth initiatives
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and retention programs
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on performance, employee relations and engagement
  • Develop and maintain HR policies ensuring compliance with legislation and industry best practice
  • Oversee performance management and employee development programs
  • Support broader strategy and operations
  • Contribute to industrial relations processes

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in Human Resources ideally within a unionised, multi-site environment
  • Current working knowledge of employment legislation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to influence and coach
  • High level of resilience and drive to support ongoing change and development
  • Ability to balance hands-on operational work whilst driving strategic change
  • Ability to innovate and problem-solve
  • High level of computer literacy including experience creating efficiencies and advancing systems

This position requires a current National Police Check no more than 6 months old and evidence of right to work. To succeed in this role you must be driven by autonomy and leadership opportunities and have experience in a blue collar environment.
