About Our Opportunity

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with a team on various projects focused on risks faced by banks and other financial services companies.
  • Effectively contribute as a team member by sharing responsibilities, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.
  • Apply quantitative, statistical, or analytical skills, along with strong communication abilities, to support model development and validation engagements.
  • Utilize and develop your quantitative, problem-solving, statistical, analytical, and communication skills through model development and validation engagements.
  • Maintain a client-centric mindset.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required for the senior consultant position. A minimum of 5 years of experience is required for the manager position.
  • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, with a keen interest in financial risk and model implications.
  • Confident and credible communication skills, both oral and written, with a collaborative problem-solving approach.
  • A strong academic background including at least a Bachelor's degree (Actuarial, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering) and professional qualification (e.g., FIAA, AIAA, CFA).
  • Knowledge and experience in software development environments such as R, Python, SQL, VBA, SAS, or C++.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of other MS Office products, with an eagerness to acquire new skills and knowledge.
  • An interest and willingness in coaching and fostering the development of more junior team members.

Your Qualifications:

  • Education: Actuarial, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering degree and professional qualifications.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in software development environments like R, Python, SQL, VBA, SAS, or C++.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a collaborative attitude.
