Job Title: Site Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of the project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a trade or building-related qualification and a minimum of 5 years' experience in site supervision, including planning, programming, and management of onsite staff/subcontractors. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct onsite health and safety inductions with all onsite staff/subcontractors
  • Review and manage key project issues
  • Liaise with statutory bodies to ensure all relevant notifications are made
  • Establish and maintain site compounds and amenities
  • Organize site inspections with clients, authorities, and consultants
  • Assist the Project Manager with preparing scopes of work
  • Understand head and subcontractor contracts, especially in relation to timeframes
  • Produce and manage defect lists for subcontractors prior to finishing works

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Trade or building-related qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in site supervision, including planning, programming, and management of onsite staff/subcontractors
  • Construction Safety Induction (White) card
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Sound knowledge of legislation, regulations, and standards relating to building sites
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate subcontractors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
