We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Development and Training Specialist to join our Learning and Organisational Development team in Milton, Brisbane.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to shape how our company develops current and future leaders and key talent across our East Coast operations. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering tailored learning and development initiatives that meet the needs of our site and operational leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate delivery of professional development workshops and leadership training programs in person and virtually, travelling regularly to VIC, NSW, QLD, and PNG.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, influence their thinking, and educate them on the right solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Act as an internal consultant to our customers, understanding their requirements and providing expert advice on various learning and organisational development initiatives.
  • Utilise your coaching skills and ability to identify development needs, improving knowledge and skills within the organisation.
  • Coordinate development programs, including booking management, organising catering, facilitators, follow-up, and stakeholder engagement.

We are looking for a strategic thinker who can proactively focus on professional development and has experience in leading and event managing. You will have a high level of resilience, taking ownership for driving outcomes across all levels, from entry-level professionals to senior managers.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications or proven experience in Psychology or Organisational Development (Certificate IV in Training & Assessment as a minimum).
  • Proven experience in facilitating professional development and training programs.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the east coast to our various offices and branches, plus internationally to support our team in PNG.
  • A strong ability to manage internal customer and external stakeholder relationships, along with excellent written and presentation skills.
