Technical Claims Specialist Role

As a Technical Claims Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our claims teams by providing high-level technical assistance. This includes overseeing peer reviews for claims and lodgements, as well as delivering training sessions to new starters and refresher training for existing staff.

  • Provide expert support and guidance to Claims teams, Lodgements, and Leaders.
  • Lead monthly high-level peer reviews for Lodgements and Claims.
  • Deliver engaging and effective training programs to equip new starters with the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain and enhance technical training content using tools like PowerPoint and ELMO.
  • Continuously review and improve claims training to ensure best practices are adopted.
  • Assist Team Leaders in authorizing and approving claim payments.
  • Respond to enquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Support project development and implementation as needed.

To excel in this role, you will require experience in Commercial Motor Claims, along with a strong understanding of insurance policies, procedures, and laws and regulations. Additionally, Subject Matter Expertise in technical end-to-end Motor Claims is essential.

A team player with excellent customer service skills and strong communication skills is required. You must be able to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure clear communication, effective collaboration, and high-quality service delivery.
