This role involves managing patient scheduling and coordination.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Manage patient appointments, schedules and other daily operations to ensure seamless day-to-day office performance
- Provide prompt, polite and helpful customer service to patients by responding to inquiries and directing them to relevant resources when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of provider schedules and patient information in our system
- Answer phone calls, screen messages and provide necessary information to patients
- Contact patients prior to scheduled appointments for confirmation purposes
- Create new patient files, assemble charts and conduct demographic and insurance interviews with patients
- Gather required signatures on consents and insurance forms from patients
- Verify patient coverage with insurers
- Ensure correct claims classification for payment accuracy
- Support patients by addressing their concerns and guiding them towards relevant solutions
