Compassionate Family Violence Practitioner Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Family Violence Specialist Practitioner to provide wrap-around case management and crisis support to women and children escaping family violence in Darwin.
This full-time, ongoing position offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of those impacted by family violence through community outreach and crisis accommodation settings.
You will manage a caseload of 12 families, offering personalized, trauma-informed support that addresses their unique needs and circumstances.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor qualification in Social Work or equivalent, relevant family violence experience, and a trauma-informed practice approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide case management and crisis support to women and children escaping family violence
- Manage a caseload of 12 families and develop personalized support plans
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support services
- Develop and maintain relationships with local service providers and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor qualification in Social Work or equivalent
- Relevant family violence experience
- Trauma-informed practice approach
- Ability to work flexibly and conduct outreach in the community
