Housing and Shelter Support Specialist

This position is responsible for providing support and services to individuals in need, with a focus on housing and shelter.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the needs of marginalized populations and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized support and counseling to residents,
- Developing and implementing intervention plans to address resident needs and risks,
- Collaborating with other staff members to provide comprehensive support services,
- Maintaining accurate records and reports, and
- Participating in cross-agency working groups as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a diploma in a related human/social service field and have a minimum of one year recent related experience. They will also demonstrate strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently and show initiative and creativity.
