Senior Event Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Floor Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at a large convention and exhibition centre.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated hospitality professional to specialise in events, leading large teams to success and driving revenue growth through effective management and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all aspects of event planning and coordination, ensuring seamless execution from conception to delivery.
- Liaise with clients regarding event details and deliver high-quality customer service.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage employee relations and provide guidance and support to team members.
For this role, we require a candidate with proven experience in leadership, customer service, and event management. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering results-driven solutions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a large team.
About You- Previous leadership experience in a large banqueting or food and beverage environment.
- Proven ability to manage, motivate, lead, and provide direction to a large team of 100+.
- Experience coordinating exhibition/tradeshow-style catering.
- A current RMLV Certificate and Approved Manager Licence (or the ability to obtain them quickly).
