About This Opportunity

We have an exciting new position available for a skilled Technical Writer to join our team.

This role will involve driving innovative technical publication authoring and writing solutions across all aspects of Maritime Technical Publications, ensuring that projects meet their requirements, including safety and regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will work closely with a team of experts to develop technical documentation in accordance with relevant project procedures and standards. They will also contribute to continuous development activities and project engineering policies and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality technical publications that meet project requirements.
  • Undertake technical writing requirements and participate in system design and requirement reviews.
  • Develop technical documentation in accordance with appropriate standards.
  • Contribute towards continuous development activities as well as project engineering policies and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or formal qualification in Technical Writing or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in Technical Writing / Authoring.
  • Effective communication skills at various levels of stakeholders to discuss and present business requirements.
  • Proficient with using authoring software tools and MS applications.
  • Understanding of S1000D is highly desirable.
  • Experience in producing Maritime Technical Publications is highly desirable.
