About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Blast Crew Member. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for delivering top-tier blasting services to our clients in the quarry, construction, and forestry sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in physically demanding work, including extended periods of walking, carrying, and bending.
  • Establish exclusion zones with appropriate signage to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Follow all instructions on the blast site from the shotfirer and/or supervisor.
  • Ensure site and equipment cleanliness to maintain a high level of safety and efficiency.
  • Uphold Impact's safety culture and standards in the designated area.
  • Perform any other duties as required by a supervisor/manager from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Australian Open Class manual driver's license.
  • Proficiency in using computers and operating systems.
  • Physical agility to undertake extended periods of walking, carrying, and bending.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness and ability to pass a national police check.
  • Successful completion of a medical and Drug & Alcohol assessment.
  • Desirable experience in the quarry or mining industry.
