About This Opportunity

We are seeking experienced individuals to join our Northern Territory team as full-time blast crew members. These roles are critical in delivering top-notch blasting services to our quarry, construction, and forestry clients. While primarily based in Marrakai, overnight travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage in physically demanding work, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.
  2. Establish exclusion zones and maintain signage to ensure a safe working environment.
  3. Follow instructions from the shotfirer and/or supervisor on the blast site, adhering to our strict safety protocols.
  4. Ensure site and equipment cleanliness, upholding our high standards of professionalism.
  5. Uphold Impact's safety culture and standards in the designated area, promoting a culture of excellence.
  6. Perform any other duties as required by a supervisor/manager from time to time, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

The Successful Applicant Will Have:

  1. Australian Open Class manual driver's license, ensuring safe transportation and logistics.
  2. Proficiency in using computers and operating systems, facilitating efficient communication and data management.
  3. Physical agility to undertake extended periods of walking, carrying, and bending, meeting the demands of the role.
  4. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
  5. Willingness and ability to pass a national police check, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
  6. Successful completion of a medical and Drug & Alcohol assessment, demonstrating a commitment to health and well-being.
  7. Desirable experience in the quarry or mining industry, providing a solid foundation for success in the role.
