Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to work on complex engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of teamworking, career achievement, and high-quality project experience.

The key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Utilizing technical expertise in transmission and distribution protection and control specification and scheme design
  • Calculating protection settings for implementation
  • Critically evaluating technical solutions
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders
  • Managing transmission and distribution networks
  • Designing substation protection and control/ SCADA/ substation automation systems from 11kV up to 400kV
  • Producing specifications & P&C logic drawings for substation protection and control / SCADA/ substation automation systems
  • Generating PSL logic files and relay setting files for various relays
  • Liaising with other designers, construction professionals, and engineering teams
  • Building strong relationships with external stakeholders
  • Providing valuable support to operational staff
  • Engaging with internal and external clients and suppliers

For this challenging position, we require a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, extensive experience in electrical protection and control system design, and Chartered Status (CEng status with a professional body such as the Institution of Engineering and Technology or the Institution of Electrical Engineers).
