Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residence Manager to lead our Aged Care team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment for residents while ensuring the efficient operation of the Residence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Oversee and manage Leadership roles across Clinical, Environmental, Catering, Lifestyle, and Administration departments.
  • Resident Support: Collaborate with clinical staff to provide high-quality care that meets residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets to support resident and staff needs while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
  • Quality Improvement: Implement quality and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall standard of care and services provided.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards specific to aged care facilities.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, their families, staff, and external stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates, and foster a positive environment.
Requirements
  • Previous management experience in Aged Care or Health Services Sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the aged care industry, including regulations, compliance requirements, best practices, and emerging trends.
  • Exhibit a high level of financial accountability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in problem-solving, tackling challenges with skill and efficiency.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities, inspire, and actively support the development of employees.
