About the Role

The Markets Compliance Manager role forms part of the Institutional Operational Risk and Compliance team, providing on-going support to manage NFR Level 2 Risk Themes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing Regulatory Change for both Risk Themes
  • Monitoring and reporting activities for both Risk Themes as per the NFR Framework
  • Drafting policy documents and control objectives with stakeholder communication
  • Engagement with stakeholders for implementation and management of both Risk Themes
Additional Responsibilities
  • Providing compliance support and advice to stakeholders navigating complex global regulations
Your Day-to-Day Activities
  • Independent insight and advice to management on strategic decision making and transformation processes
  • Monitoring regulatory changes relevant to Risk Themes as per the NFR Framework
  • Drafting and maintaining policy documents and control objectives ensuring obligations are managed
  • Identifying potential compliance insights/issues from risk profiles, operational risk and compliance events, audit findings, control testing, and QA results
Collaboration and Teamwork
  • Collaborating with Markets/Institutional Operational Risk and Compliance teams for effective delivery of BAU activities and key risk/compliance initiatives
  • Collaborating with Markets Business and other Divisional and Enterprise Operational Risk and Compliance teams for efficient implementation of NFR Framework
Requirements and Skills
  • Knowledge of financial markets regulatory requirements across the global landscape
  • Compliance or similar experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain successful relationships
  • Experience monitoring regulatory change and analyzing risk profiles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Institutional Markets business activities and processes
