Crown Resorts is a leading hospitality and entertainment company, and we're seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional value to our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with our Hotel, Food & Beverage, and Events teams to source and expedite essential goods and services.
- Identify and provide products and/or suppliers to improve profit margins, considering the total cost of business, without compromising product quality or service.
- Follow up on non-delivered goods with suppliers/customers in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Seek out cost-saving opportunities and support ad-hoc product sourcing.
- Act as a trusted advisor by keeping up to date with market trends and sharing information on product availability.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will have broad experience in the hospitality and restaurant industry, with a strong understanding of business requirements and the ability to effectively communicate and deliver procurement activities.
Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of the sourcing process, contracts, and procurement operations.
- Demonstrated experience working within fast-paced operational environments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and activities, working at a property and group-based level.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as strong negotiating and influencing ability.
- Genuine desire to learn, grow, and contribute within the Crown Procurement team.
