We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse specialising in Anaesthetics to join our dynamic team at a prestigious private hospital located in Brisbane. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our surgical team, providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing anaesthesia for surgical procedures.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Prepare and manage the anaesthetic environment, equipment, and supplies.
  • Assist anaesthetists with the induction, maintenance, and emergence phases of anaesthesia.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to anaesthetic-related emergencies.
  • Provide post-anaesthetic care and ensure smooth recovery for patients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Educate patients and their families about anaesthetic procedures and post-operative care.


Qualifications:




  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in anaesthetic nursing.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
