Qantas Airways is seeking a Risk and Compliance Officer - Third Party to join our Business Integrity and Compliance (BIC) team. As a Risk and Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for undertaking third-party due diligence, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop risk action plans and strategies.

The BIC team works closely with Legal and Procurement to ensure that employees and third parties working on behalf of Qantas conduct business in an ethical and compliant manner. As a Risk and Compliance Officer - Third Party, you will apply your knowledge of compliance frameworks to support the uplift and optimisation of our broader compliance program.

This role requires:

  • 5+ years of experience in a professional environment, regulatory compliance, or legal role.
  • Demonstrated experience in third-party due diligence and risk assessment, in the disciplines of Anti-bribery & Corruption, Sanctions, and Modern Slavery.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using Compliance/Due Diligence platforms.
