Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer - Risk Management to join our team at TEG Pty Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing risk associated with chargebacks, ensuring compliance elements around external fraud are met, and managing internal processes to reduce the financial impact of Fraud.

This is a predominately transactional role within the Fraud Department based in Sydney, reporting to the Project Lead - Fraud.

About the Role:
  • Risk Management: Managing risk associated with chargebacks, identifying improvements to internal processes to ensure end-to-end controls are in place, and developing controlled and documented processes and metrics are in place regarding managing risk where chargebacks have taken place.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance elements around external fraud are met, and preparing bi-weekly Business Intelligence Reporting on levels of Fraud and any supporting commentary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate daily chargeback information and unpick transactions that relate to future dated events.
  • Manage end-to-end process with State Managers to ensure chargebacks are recorded on Ticketek system accurately.
  • Develop controlled and documented processes and metrics are in place regarding managing risk where chargebacks have taken place.
  • Prepare bi-weekly Business Intelligence Reporting on levels of Fraud and any supporting commentary.
  • Support team lead by gathering and analysing chargeback data to identify patterns and anomalies indicative of future potential external fraud.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science - Business and Management or equivalent degree.
  • CA/CPA qualification is desirable.
  • Strong PC Skills.
  • Medium to advanced level of Excel.
  • Experience with visualisation tools such as PowerBI or Tableau highly desirable.
