About the Role

The Logistics Planning and Innovation Manager will be responsible for managing the logistics planning process to optimize the network and maximize efficiency across all transport and warehouse activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Managers to support their future forecast models and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Work with third-party logistics providers to improve efficiency through effective planning and reporting, ensuring they have the necessary resources to manage volume and optimize the network.
  • Provide seasonal volume metrics and capability plans to support business decision-making.
  • Identify commercial opportunities and support through metrics and detailed analysis.
Logistics Cost Management and Key Reporting
  • Provide ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing saving projects, and tracing costs back to underlying activities.
  • Partner with third-party logistics providers to ensure standard operating procedures are followed while meeting key performance indicators and costs.
  • Develop and manage a reporting suite analyzing current and historical performance trends to drive process and cost efficiency.
About You
  • 5 years' experience in a similar role with a strong background in logistics planning and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain internal and external customer relationships.
  • Advanced Excel skills to analyze data and drive business decisions.
