Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and organized Trainee Laboratory Technician to join our team. The role involves conducting tests on construction materials, preparing samples, and utilizing the deputy timesheet management system.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced technicians and assist in the general maintenance of the laboratory.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare samples prior to testing in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Utilise the deputy timesheet management system to record daily working hours.
  • Convey a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
  • Assist others when required and multitask efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with Management and colleagues.
  • Ensure Safe Work Method Statements have been completed prior to arriving onsite.
  • Undertake activities in accordance with the Company's Work Health & Safety Management Plan.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A great attitude and ability to learn and work in a team environment.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a 'fit to work' medical and regular drug and alcohol screening.
  • Manual labour experience.
  • Valid Driver's licence.
  • White Card.
