We deliver complex infrastructure projects across the country, connecting people and communities.
As a senior project engineer with BMD, you will be part of our high-calibre team delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions for water/wastewater treatment plants, underbores, HDD, and underground piping projects.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite engineering services and technical support to ensure projects meet safety, environmental, specification, design, and contractual requirements.
- Work closely with senior project team members to achieve optimum production and cost outcomes.
- Mentor Site Engineers and Graduates to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with multiple disciplinary teams, project managers, clients, superintendents, and consultants.
- At least 7 years' experience on water/wastewater, underbores, HDD, underground piping projects.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, environmental, and quality outcomes.
- Motivation to achieve value-for-money results, ideally with experience in Pre-Contracts.
- Previous experience with major tier one or two contractors undertaking similar work.
