Senior Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our team. This role provides the perfect opportunity for you to utilize your skills and experience in advisory, tax planning, compliance, and managing a team.

This is a career-enhancing opportunity to work with a quality business services firm located in City CBD and Parramatta. You will work alongside one of the Principals predominantly in the Parramatta office, assisting him to manage and expand his portfolio of clients.

  • Manage client engagements (working on advisory, tax planning, and compliance matters)
  • Supervise day-to-day assignments (ensuring staff are aware of their responsibilities, allocate work, review work, coordinate workflow to ensure maximum outcomes, mentor and train staff)
  • Meet with clients and engage with stakeholders
  • Work on client assignments as instructed by the Principal
  • Participate in practice development and attend management functions

You MUST have previous business services and client-facing experience. You MUST have 5 years' experience at a senior level within an Australian public practice. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Able to build and lead your team
  • Highly developed technical skills in producing financial reports for companies, partnerships, and trusts
  • Excellent verbal and written English communications skills
  • Proficiency with technology and accounting software systems
  • Able to take ownership and pride in your work
