Strategic Communications Role

Help Us Achieve Effective Community Engagement

We are seeking a professional to develop and implement communication strategies that promote Council's services and achieve behaviour change campaigns.

The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualification and/or considerable experience in planning, developing and implementing communication campaigns that inform and engage local communities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Communication Planning: Develop and implement effective communication strategies.
  • Assessment of Campaigns: Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of our communications efforts.
  • Service Delivery: Coordinate all aspects of communications including planning, writing, production, and implementation.
  • Media Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with media trends and provide timely reports.
