Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused individual to fill the role of Cement Truck Operator in our Devonport, Tasmania location.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate cement trucks in a safe and efficient manner to deliver products to customers.
  • Participate in a comprehensive training program covering cement truck operation, product quality control, and on-site safety protocols.
  • Perform daily pre-operational checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
  • Represent our company professionally at all times on the road and on-site.
  • Support batching operations as needed, including material handling using front-end loaders.
  • Monitor product quality and contribute to raw materials management.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks and assist with plant housekeeping and safety initiatives.

About You:

  • You hold a valid Heavy Rigid (HR) license.
  • You are eager to learn and gain experience in concrete production.
  • You have a White Card or are willing to obtain one.
  • You are available to work a Monday-to-Friday schedule with occasional Saturday half-days and overtime.
  • You value teamwork and prioritize customer satisfaction and workplace safety.
  • You possess physical fitness and can perform manual tasks.
