As a Graduate Mining Engineer

As a Graduate Mining Engineer, you'll begin your journey in our Operations team at Railton, Tasmania, gaining hands-on experience in the dynamic field of mineral extraction. You'll be part of a collaborative team, working on meaningful projects that shape how we mine, safely, sustainably and efficiently. You'll gain hands-on experience across :

Assessing mine site feasibility through geological surveys and data analysisSupporting mine design and planning with a strong focus on safety and environmental responsibilityIdentifying and managing operational risks on siteContributing to improvement projects that boost performance and reliabilityTaking part in capital works and shutdown projects, with opportunities to grow your leadership skills and even supervise small teams

You'll apply core engineering principles in real-world settings, helping ensure our operations remain safe, productive, and forward-thinking. This is your chance to learn from industry leaders while building a strong foundation for a long-term career in mining.

Completing (or recently completed) a Bachelor of Mining Engineering or related fieldEnjoy working in team environments and enjoy collaborating with different peopleLove problem-solving, data analysis, and thinking on your feetResilient, adaptable, and ready to take on new challenges with a positive attitudeOpen to relocating for each site rotation (we'll support you every step of the way) – including Gladstone, QLD and Railton, TASThis role gives you the opportunity to learn the full asset and maintenance lifecycle in a fast-paced, supportive environment, setting you up for a long-term career in heavy industry.
