Job Summary

As a strategic financial advisor, you will play a pivotal role in driving budgeting, forecasting, and cost management across all departments. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and improving financial processes, creating insightful reports, and managing general ledger activities to support informed business decisions.

The Role

  • Lead the development and implementation of annual cost plans, forecasts, and ongoing analysis for all departments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine business cases and conduct cost variance analysis.
  • Maintain and consolidate budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support the preparation of purchase orders, service entries, and month-end accounting transactions.
  • Ensure the maintenance of general ledger accounts and prepare month-end journals and accruals.
  • Identify opportunities for system and process improvements, embedding efficiencies to enhance productivity.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar accounting position.
  • Proven ability to develop financial templates and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • SAP experience is highly regarded.
