Job Title

The Department of Health is seeking a highly skilled Policy and Executive Support Officer to join its Allied Health Strategy and Policy team.

  • As a key member of the team, you will provide high-level policy advice and support to the Chief Allied Health Officer and Deputy Chief Allied Health Advisor.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating the timely preparation and provision of briefings and reports on allied health professional policy, workforce, legislative, regulatory, and clinical governance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide project support to the Allied Health Strategy and Policy team through the administration and coordination of several concurrent project activities.
  2. Assist in the development of policies and procedures to support the implementation of the Department's strategic priorities.
  3. Contribute to the design and delivery of training programs to build the skills and capacity of departmental staff.
