Role Overview

KPMG Australia invites applicants to join our Tax divisions across Consultant and Senior Consultant levels. This description reflects opportunities available in Corporate Tax and related areas as part of our growth in the Australian market.

Your Opportunity

We currently have openings for Consultants and Senior Consultants across our Tax divisions, covering Corporate Tax Advisory, M&A Tax, GST Advisory, Global Mobility Services, Performance and Reward, Migration, Transfer Pricing, Tax Governance, Tax Reimagined, and Tax Controversy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Corporate Tax Advisory: Provide advisory and compliance services to clients on corporate tax matters, ensuring adherence to ATO filing obligations.
  • M&A Tax: Assist clients with transaction tax experience, providing strong communication skills and a finance/accounting/law background.
  • GST Advisory: Offer advisory and compliance services to clients on GST, employment tax, payroll, trade, and customs, requiring a degree in accounting/commerce or related field.
  • Global Mobility Services: Provide expatriate tax compliance experience and an ethical approach aligned with KPMG values.
  • Performance and Reward: Utilize broad technical knowledge in leadership, performance, and reward, with sector experience in consulting, government, or large corporates.
  • Migration: Leverage registered migration agent experience and understanding of migration legislation in high-volume settings, focusing on customer service.
  • Transfer Pricing: Apply transfer pricing experience in Big 4/mid-tier, ATO, or corporate settings, with a degree in related fields and CA/CPA pursuit.
  • Tax Governance: Qualify with business, tax, law, audit, or finance/commerce qualifications, demonstrating detail-oriented and deadline-driven capabilities.
  • Tax Reimagined: Work with finance/accounting or math/cs-related degrees, experience with tax technology implementations, and ERP systems, showcasing a growth mindset.
  • Tax Controversy: Engage with experience in corporate or international tax, tax law, or dispute resolution, possessing strong stakeholder engagement and advisory capabilities.
