Our client, a reputable Civil engineering firm, is seeking a skilled Civil Structures Professional to join their team in Sydney. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and bonus scheme.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with experience in designing and delivering projects such as buildings, retaining walls, pits, and small bridges. They will be responsible for delivering structural elements of projects internally and will have the opportunity to grow a team in the long term.

The successful candidate will possess formal Civil/Structural Engineering qualifications, with at least 10 years of experience in a similar role. They will be confident in their communication skills, able to manage inspections on site, and hold Chartered Engineer status. Additionally, they will be able to liaise with clients and produce technical reports, working autonomously as well as part of a wider team.

Key Requirements:
  • Formal Civil/Structural Engineering qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience as a Civil Structural Engineer with strong design experience
  • Confident communication skills to manage inspections on site
  • Chartered Engineer
  • Able to liaise with clients and produce technical reports
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications
  • Work autonomously as well as part of a wider team
