About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our team at Sentinel Property Group. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Operations Manager and Assistant Operations Manager in contributing to the ongoing day-to-day operational success of our shopping centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Drive a culture of safety across the asset
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety and emergency procedures
  • Building Maintenance and Presentation:
    • Perform daily inspections to ensure the centre meets high presentation standards and coordinate with cleaning and maintenance teams to address any issues promptly
  • Contractor Management:
    • Ensure all contractors comply with centre house rules, contract terms, and the agreed scope of works
    • Oversee contractor prequalification and induction through Rapid Induct
    • Review and approve contractor-supplied Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
    • Raise and review purchase orders for expenditure in line with budget
    • Process invoices and service receipts promptly
  • Retailer Relations:
    • Foster a culture of service in resolving common area and tenant issues
    • Assist tenants with contractor prequalification and compliance for maintenance or fit-out works
    • Manage after-hours access requests and additional services for tenants
  • Customer Service:
    • Participate in the Duty Manager shift roster to ensure continuous centre oversight
    • Establish and maintain professional relationships with tenants, shoppers, and contractors
  • Environmental and Risk Management:
    • Contribute to environmental sustainability management initiatives
    • Maintain fire safety, essential services, and public liability measures
  • Reporting and Communication:
    • Maintain accurate records and databases relating to centre operations, emergency management and risk management
    • Contribute to the centre's monthly report
    • Collaborate with other departments such as Customer Service, Leasing, Retail, Marketing, and Business Development to ensure cohesive centre operations
