In this exciting role as a Key Business Insights Analyst (FTC till December 2025), you will collaborate closely with the stock loss leadership team to deliver valuable, actionable insights into stock loss trends and potential opportunities for Woolworths Supermarkets. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives that drive business growth and improve customer experiences.

About the Role
  • You will partner closely with the stock loss leadership team to analyse data, advise on initiatives and assess returns that generates stockloss improvement in stores
  • Provide insightful analysis, clear weekly commentary and actionable insights on a department and state basis
  • Support and partner with finance teams and our stakeholders with weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting requirements and analysis
  • Support and lead across key processes including the monthly forecast, annual operating plan and tracking key initiatives
  • Support on ad hoc analysis as required and engage with our wider stakeholders to drive actionable insights and plans.
About You
  • You will ideally have had Multinational FMCG experience and supported teams across national retail.
  • CA / CPA Qualification preferred
  • You are a true business partner with proven ability and able to communicate with impact, an analytical mindset and able to problem solve effectively
  • You are able to multi-task and work on multiple ongoing projects in an agile working environment
  • Previous experience in budgeting, reporting and analysis preferred
  • Experience in using data, analytics and visualisation tools to drive business decisions
  • Strong systems experience (SAP and Business Objects preferred), advanced financial modelling skills and experience with SQL, GCP and Tableau are preferred.
