Are you a seasoned engineering professional with a strong background in automation and control systems?

About the Role
  • We are seeking a skilled engineer to lead technical outcomes and deliver high-quality solutions across diverse projects.
  • You will be responsible for providing technical expertise in PLC, SCADA, HMI and DCS systems integration.
  • Your key tasks will include preparing scopes of work, execution plans and schedules, as well as ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • You will also act as Job Supervisor for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with safety, governance and quality systems.
  • Liaising directly with clients is a crucial aspect of this role.
About You
  • A degree in Engineering (Electrical, Control or Instrumentation) is required.
  • You must have 3+ years of technical design experience in automation, control and electrical projects in a contracting/project delivery environment.
  • Strong experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI and DCS systems integration is essential.
  • A proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget is necessary.
  • Excellent technical writing, communication and client-facing skills are required.
Desirable Expertise
  • Functional Safety & Risk Management (incl. HAZOP leadership) would be highly valued.
  • Hazardous Areas compliance is desirable.
  • Industrial & computer networking skills would be beneficial.
  • Major project contract management expertise would be advantageous.
  • Application-specific systems knowledge (e.g. boiler controls, mining automation) would be an asset.
