Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Customer Service professional to join our team at the Adelaide Airport. As a Sales and Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for greeting customers, processing rental agreements, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, inspecting vehicles before and after rental periods, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.

You will maintain knowledge of current promotions, services, and products to assist with sales efforts, build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals, detail and clean vehicles to business quality standards, and refuel and transport vehicles as needed.

  • Greet customers and assist them in renting vehicles based on their preferences and needs
  • Process rental agreements accurately and efficiently
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Inspect vehicles before and after rental periods, noting any damages
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, services, and products to assist with sales efforts
  • Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Detail and clean vehicles to business quality standards
  • Refuel and transport vehicles as needed
About the Role

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or retail
  • Car rental experience is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers
  • Computer literacy skills required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating shift roster - 7 day shift work including weekends and public holidays
  • Valid Australian driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Current and ongoing Australian work rights
  • A positive can-do attitude
