Teaching and Learning Leader

The Teaching and Learning Leader will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational direction of the school, ensuring that curriculum priorities align seamlessly with both school and departmental initiatives. As a leader in this field, you will contribute to the broader vision of the Early Childhood and State Schools Division, driving excellence through the development of high-quality teaching and learning practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.">
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.">
  • Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.">
  • Embed the General Capabilities and Cross Curricular Priorities into the curriculum to equip our students to build knowledge, skills, behaviours and dispositions to live and work successfully.">
  • Align the three levels of curriculum planning to the Australian Curriculum and the requirements of the K -12 Framework.">
  • Data analysis - LOA and NAPLAN.">
  • Lead systematic synthetic phonics.">
